The Ladle collection was conceived to offer multiple configurations while preserving a consistent aesthetic and functional identity, allowing each version to work naturally across different interiors and atmospheres. The high-back version creates a more enveloping visual presence, while the star-shaped swivel base gives the chair a lighter, contemporary foundation. Arflex lists high versions with a swivel star base within the Ladle collection, including Armchair 81 and Armchair 87 configurations. With its combination of sculptural upholstery, distinctive proportions, and swivel functionality, the Ladle Swivel Armchair High Back is particularly suited to refined living rooms, reading areas, executive interiors, and sophisticated lounge environments.

Made in Italy
Usually ships within 6-8 weeks
Free Shipping (USA & Canada)

Design & Features

Designed by Luca Nichetto in 2014.

Part of the Arflex Ladle armchair collection.

High-back armchair configuration available with a swivel star base.

The collection includes different sizes, heights, and base configurations while maintaining a shared aesthetic and functional identity.

Upholstery selections include numerous fabrics as well as leather options.

Designed as an expressive contemporary lounge chair with a substantial upholstered profile.

Upholstery & Materials

Arflex offers the Ladle collection in an extensive selection of upholstery materials.
