The Ben Ben sofa has a curved design and was created by Cini Boeri for Arflex. The seat cushions are made of shaped polyurethane with differentiated density and polyester fiber, and have elastic belts for springing. The back cushions are filled with goose down and have a feather-proof lining. A version with Comforel cushions is available upon request. The sofa’s feet are made of black lacquered metal and have protective glides made of black nylon. The fabric cover can be easily removed for cleaning. Arflex decided to reintroduce the Bengodi model, originally designed in 1974, with confidence that it would be just as popular today as it was then. According to the architect Cini Boeri, the soft pillow behind the back of the sofa is so comfortable that one can even fall asleep while sitting on it.
