Inspired by the vibrant energy, fluid movement, and cabaret spirit of the historic Parisian district, the Pigalle Easy Armchair by Kenneth Cobonpue is a stunning tribute to sensuous, undulating lines. This armchair breaks away from traditional block furniture configurations, showcasing a masterclass in structural transparency and organic loops. The Pigalle Easy Armchair's unique shape features a continuous, hourglass-like weave that curls smoothly at the top and base to create built-in armrests and a curved bottom rail. Handcrafted using high-tensile wire frames wrapped meticulously in premium fibers, the Pigalle looks more like an ethereal wire sculpture than a traditional seat. It is a brilliant statement piece for luxury sunrooms, upscale poolside decks, or minimalist living rooms looking for high visual impact without heavy mass. The rolling, continuous curves wrap seamlessly around the form, creating a dramatic sense of movement from every viewing angle. The fine, open-grid weave allows natural sunlight, shifting shadows, and landscape backdrops to show through, keeping modern spaces feeling light and open. Every loop and intersection is hand-bound over a strong, powder-coated steel matrix, illustrating the unmatched technical expertise of Cobonpue’s atelier. The central curve is precisely angled to cradle the body naturally, providing a comfortable lounge experience with or without optional accent cushions.

General Information
After spending years abroad, Kenneth Cobonpue returned to Cebu, Philippines, in 1996 to take over his mother Betty's furniture design and manufacturing company. Betty, who is a designer and a Pratt graduate, founded the company. Kenneth realized that modern design could be reinvented using natural fibers and materials. He began creating the pieces that now make up the collection by blending locally sourced organic materials with innovative handmade production techniques. This offered an alternative to the Western definition of modern design. He pays tribute to the talent of craftsmen, which forms the basis of the designs produced by KENNETHCOBONPUE today. The company produces high-end indoor and outdoor furniture and furnishings known for their artistic imprint and unique visual impact. All creations skillfully integrate nature, traditional craftsmanship, and innovative technologies.
