Playful, poetic, and undeniably sculptural, the Little People Boom Town Table Lamp turns functional lighting into an dynamic piece of performance art. Part of Cobonpue's signature award-winning collection, this lamp represents human synergy, collaboration, and structural beauty. The defining feature of this luxury fixture is its intricate, figurative base. A lively collective of delicate miniature figures, individually handcrafted from salago fiber coated pulp and steel, climb and cling to one another to create a sturdy, soaring human pyramid. Together, they support a sleek, angled metal boom arm that holds a refined fabric drum shade. The juxtaposition between the raw, busy energy of the figures and the minimalist elegance of the cantilevered shade creates an incredible conversation starter for high-end residential interiors, creative workspaces, or luxury hotel lounges. Little People Boom Town Table Lamp is a brilliant example of narrative design, symbolizing teamwork, unity, and structural triumphs. Made using sustainably harvested salago fiber (a wild, native shrub from the Philippines) over hand-bent wire, giving each miniature figure a distinct texture. The cantilevered boom arm extends the warm, ambient light forward, making it an excellent statement lamp for executive desks, credenzas, or accent tables. When lit, the textured figures cast subtle, dramatic shadows, adding a cozy layer of depth to the room.

General Information
After spending years abroad, Kenneth Cobonpue returned to Cebu, Philippines, in 1996 to take over his mother Betty's furniture design and manufacturing company. Betty, who is a designer and a Pratt graduate, founded the company. Kenneth realized that modern design could be reinvented using natural fibers and materials. He began creating the pieces that now make up the collection by blending locally sourced organic materials with innovative handmade production techniques. This offered an alternative to the Western definition of modern design. He pays tribute to the talent of craftsmen, which forms the basis of the designs produced by KENNETH COBONPUE today. The company produces high-end indoor and outdoor furniture and furnishings known for their artistic imprint and unique visual impact. All creations skillfully integrate nature, traditional craftsmanship, and innovative technologies.
