Where contemporary artistry meets the timeless soul of hand-weaving, the Trame Easy Armchair stands as a masterpiece of modern luxury. Designed by the world-renowned Kenneth Cobonpue, "Trame" (meaning weft or plot in Italian) is a celebration of interconnectedness, shifting shadows, and fluid geometry. This is not just a chair; it is an interactive sculpture that redefines the space it occupies. The Trame Easy Armchair captures a whimsical yet sophisticated spirit. Its eye-catching backrest features an intricate, asymmetrical web of hand-woven loops that appear to float effortlessly. As light filters through the interlocking fibers, it casts a dynamic play of shadows across your floor, turning your living space or covered terrace into an ever-changing gallery. "Design is a journey of discovery. With Trame, we wanted to capture the casual elegance of lines looping through space, creating a seat that is light to the eye but profoundly grounding to sit in."

General Information
After spending years abroad, Kenneth Cobonpue returned to Cebu, Philippines, in 1996 to take over his mother Betty's furniture design and manufacturing company. Betty, who is a designer and a Pratt graduate, founded the company. Kenneth realized that modern design could be reinvented using natural fibers and materials. He began creating the pieces that now make up the collection by blending locally sourced organic materials with innovative handmade production techniques. This offered an alternative to the Western definition of modern design. He pays tribute to the talent of craftsmen, which forms the basis of the designs produced by KENNETH COBONPUE today. The company produces high-end indoor and outdoor furniture and furnishings known for their artistic imprint and unique visual impact. All creations skillfully integrate nature, traditional craftsmanship, and innovative technologies.
