Capturing the grace, mystery, and structured elegance of traditional Japanese couture, the Geisha Floor Lamp is a breathtaking testament to Kenneth Cobonpue’s mastery of organic modernism. This statement lighting piece transcends mere functionality, standing as a dramatic sculptural artwork that commands attention in any luxury interior. Inspired by the iconic silhouette and layered folds of a geisha’s kimono, this Geisha Floor Lamp utilizes intricately woven materials to create a dramatic play of light and shadow. The sweeping, fluid lines mimic fabric frozen in motion, while the statuesque posture of the lamp brings an air of quiet dignity and avant-garde sophistication to contemporary spaces. When illuminated, the intricate weave diffuses a warm, atmospheric glow, casting captivating patterns across the room and creating an intimate, inviting ambiance. Handcrafted using Cobonpue’s signature technique of manipulating natural and high-tech composites over a durable steel frame. A statuesque, conversation-starting profile that serves as a focal point even when unlit. The open-weave structure acts as a natural diffuser, softening the light to create an elegant, textured radial glow. Ideal for high-end residential living rooms, master suites, executive offices, or boutique hospitality lounges.

General Information
After spending years abroad, Kenneth Cobonpue returned to Cebu, Philippines, in 1996 to take over his mother Betty's furniture design and manufacturing company. Betty, who is a designer and a Pratt graduate, founded the company. Kenneth realized that modern design could be reinvented using natural fibers and materials. He began creating the pieces that now make up the collection by blending locally sourced organic materials with innovative handmade production techniques. This offered an alternative to the Western definition of modern design. He pays tribute to the talent of craftsmen, which forms the basis of the designs produced by KENNETH COBONPUE today. The company produces high-end indoor and outdoor furniture and furnishings known for their artistic imprint and unique visual impact. All creations skillfully integrate nature, traditional craftsmanship, and innovative technologies.
