Illuminate your space with a striking narrative of human connection. The Little People Rectangular Hanging Lamp is one of Kenneth Cobonpue’s most iconic and deeply poetic masterpieces. At a distance, it appears as an organic, floating cloud of textured branches casting a warm, ambient glow. Upon closer inspection, the Little People Rectangular Hanging Lamp reveals a breathtaking universe: hundreds of miniature, hand-sculpted figures linked arm-in-arm and foot-to-foot in a beautiful expression of unity and collective strength. Suspended over a grand dining table or an executive boardroom, the rectangular silhouette balances Avant-garde artistic expression with structured architectural lines. It doesn't just light up a room; it commands it, serving as both a high-end illumination source and a dramatic museum-worthy art installation. Look closely at the image above—the entire form is constructed from countless interlocking, hand-bent miniature figures, creating a visual metaphor for community and shared humanity. Each miniature figure is intricately formed from delicate yet strong wires wrapped around a sturdier steel frame, painstakingly welded and finished by master artisans. The inner bulbs radiate through the intricate web of figures, throwing captivating, shadow-puppet-like patterns across your walls and ceiling for a truly immersive atmosphere. The elongated rectangular shape is specifically designed to ground linear spaces, providing perfect symmetry and visual weight when hung over long tables, kitchen islands, or minimalist bars.

General Information
After spending years abroad, Kenneth Cobonpue returned to Cebu, Philippines, in 1996 to take over his mother Betty's furniture design and manufacturing company. Betty, who is a designer and a Pratt graduate, founded the company. Kenneth realized that modern design could be reinvented using natural fibers and materials. He began creating the pieces that now make up the collection by blending locally sourced organic materials with innovative handmade production techniques. This offered an alternative to the Western definition of modern design. He pays tribute to the talent of craftsmen, which forms the basis of the designs produced by KENNETH COBONPUE today. The company produces high-end indoor and outdoor furniture and furnishings known for their artistic imprint and unique visual impact. All creations skillfully integrate nature, traditional craftsmanship, and innovative technologies.
