The Trame Dining Table by Kenneth Cobonpue is a beautiful study in graphic simplicity and visual lightness. Translating the word trame (meaning "grid" or "weave" in French), this Trame dining table uses minimalist, interlocking lines to create a highly contemporary, sculptural statement. The core appeal of the Trame Dining Table lies in its structural base. Loop-like, sweeping steel bands rise from the floor, crossing and arching to form an elegant, hourglass-inspired pedestal. The base features continuous, flowing lines that shift in appearance as you move around the table, providing a dynamic visual effect that feels incredibly modern. To keep the focus on the artistic base, a thick, circular tempered glass top floats overhead, allowing light to pour through and illuminate the floor underneath. Constructed with a high-strength powder-coated steel frame, the table is remarkably sturdy while maintaining a delicate, airy footprint that never visually crowds a dining space.

General Information
After spending years abroad, Kenneth Cobonpue returned to Cebu, Philippines, in 1996 to take over his mother Betty's furniture design and manufacturing company. Betty, who is a designer and a Pratt graduate, founded the company. Kenneth realized that modern design could be reinvented using natural fibers and materials. He began creating the pieces that now make up the collection by blending locally sourced organic materials with innovative handmade production techniques. This offered an alternative to the Western definition of modern design. He pays tribute to the talent of craftsmen, which forms the basis of the designs produced by KENNETH COBONPUE today. The company produces high-end indoor and outdoor furniture and furnishings known for their artistic imprint and unique visual impact. All creations skillfully integrate nature, traditional craftsmanship, and innovative technologies.
