The Afrique Floor Lamp is part of Slamp’s Lightning Archives collection, designed by the avant-garde Studio Job. This extraordinary lamp pays homage to Slamp’s iconic Tube from the 1990s, reimagined with a surrealist identity and daring artistic flair. It incorporates tribal motifs, masks, snakes, and jungle-inspired graphics, contrasted with mechanical elements like crankshafts, springs, and gears. The Afrique Floor Lamp was created in 2017 as part of a special collaboration with Land Rover for the 65th anniversary of the Defender. A fusion of iconic semantics and Dadaist derivations, giving the lamp a poetic, eccentric personality. It functions as a functional floor lamp and a statement art piece, ideal for luxury interiors, boutique hotels, or creative spaces, and a striking centerpiece for living rooms, lounges, or design-forward offices.
