The rattan vines used in the Biba hanging lamps are carefully hand-dyed and woven around a sturdy metal frame with accents of black and orange, inspired by the vibrant colors of spiders and insects. You can choose from three different sizes, each with a powder-coated steel frame. The exterior is made of hand-dyed and painted rattan wicker with a fibreglass diffuser. Depending on the size, the lamps require one or two incandescent bulbs with either a 60W E26 or 75W E26/E27 base. The large Biba hanging lamp requires a 100W E26/E27 incandescent bulb. These lamps are designed and manufactured by Kenneth Cobonpue.

General Information
After spending years abroad, Kenneth Cobonpue returned to Cebu, Philippines, in 1996 to take over his mother Betty's furniture design and manufacturing company. Betty, who is a designer and a Pratt graduate, founded the company. Kenneth realized that modern design could be reinvented using natural fibers and materials. He began creating the pieces that now make up the collection by blending locally sourced organic materials with innovative handmade production techniques. This offered an alternative to the Western definition of modern design. He pays tribute to the talent of craftsmen, which forms the basis of the designs produced by KENNETHCOBONPUE today. The company produces high-end indoor and outdoor furniture and furnishings known for their artistic imprint and unique visual impact. All creations skillfully integrate nature, traditional craftsmanship, and innovative technologies.
