Breathe a soft, organic warmth into your space with the Poppy Suspension Lamp a breathtaking exploration of light and floral biology by master designer Kenneth Cobonpue. Inspired by the natural, delicate architecture of a blooming field of poppies, this luxury statement Poppy Suspension Lamp reinterprets the standard chandelier as a floating, luminous cloud of botanical art. The fixture's dramatic presence is achieved by clustering dozens of individually hand-formed, petal-like structures into a magnificent, spherical silhouette. Suspended high above a room, it creates an immediate sense of grandeur while maintaining a weightless, dreamlike quality that anchors modern luxury spaces. As showcased in the image above, the shade is composed of a dense, poetic network of overlapping, stylized poppy blooms that beautifully scatter light. Meticulously handmade using Tyvek or specialized salago fiber-coated pulp over a steel wire frame, capturing the organic crinkle and translucency of real flower petals. The internal light source undergoes a rich multi-layered filtration process through the "petals," casting an amber-toned, glowing ambiance across the room with absolutely zero harsh glare. Perfect for high-ceilinged entries, luxury dining spaces, or industrial-chic lofts that require a striking graphic pop of texture and natural form.

General Information
After spending years abroad, Kenneth Cobonpue returned to Cebu, Philippines, in 1996 to take over his mother Betty's furniture design and manufacturing company. Betty, who is a designer and a Pratt graduate, founded the company. Kenneth realized that modern design could be reinvented using natural fibers and materials. He began creating the pieces that now make up the collection by blending locally sourced organic materials with innovative handmade production techniques. This offered an alternative to the Western definition of modern design. He pays tribute to the talent of craftsmen, which forms the basis of the designs produced by KENNETH COBONPUE today. The company produces high-end indoor and outdoor furniture and furnishings known for their artistic imprint and unique visual impact. All creations skillfully integrate nature, traditional craftsmanship, and innovative technologies.
