It is the natural evolution of the popular Buddy collection, maintaining its friendly character while emphasizing a playful contrast between the bold, generous volumes of the upholstered seat and the visually light, thin aluminum legs. The system's distinguishing feature is its high degree of flexibility and modularity.The Buddy Oasi Sofa system is built for adaptable layouts: The foundation is an upholstered ottoman/pouf made with fire-retardant injected polyurethane foam. The base is transformed into a sofa (the "Oasi" element) by adding one or more movable backrests. These backrests have a soft, organic shape, are made of injected polyurethane foam, and are stabilized by a ballast and a non-slip fabric base. The backrests can be freely and easily positioned on the seat to create multiple configurations, ranging from a traditional sofa and face-to-face seating to a chaise lounge. The design is built with both beauty and function in mind: The substantial volume of the seat is visually lifted from the ground by thin, rigorous aluminum legs. The system is upholstered in a wide selection of fabrics, leathers, or faux leathers, making it suitable for collaborative spaces, breakout areas, or residential use.
