The Càmila Modular Sofa is a refined modular system designed for Arflex by the acclaimed Swedish studio Claesson Koivisto Rune. Unlike the more whimsical or "heavy" aesthetic of other contemporary designs, Càmila Modular sofa is defined by a "floating" horizontality and a slim, architectural profile that avoids a monolithic look. The collection balances Scandinavian minimalism with Italian luxury. Its core design language focuses on visual clarity: A thin, clearly visible band serves as the structural "thread" that joins the backrests and armrests to the seat frame. The seat frame is visually minimized and raised off the ground, creating a sense of lightness despite its generous seating area. The system includes both perfectly straight, rectilinear units and gently angled components, allowing for organic "landscape" configurations.
