The collection draws directly from the fan-shaped leaves of the ancient Ginkgo biloba tree, translating their delicate curves into sculptural metalwork. The Ginkgo Rectangular Dining Table features an open, floating aesthetic. Instead of traditional table legs, the clear glass top rests upon two oversized, sculptural steel bases shaped like multi-layered ginkgo leaves. The "leaves" are crafted using precision-cut composite or steel sheets that elegantly arch outward to form a stable pedestal. A central metal accent collar connects the intersecting leaf panels, providing an elegant touch of contrast. Because the tabletop is made of pristine tempered glass, the sweeping, artistic profiles of the sculptural bases remain completely visible from every angle in the room.

After spending years abroad, Kenneth Cobonpue returned to Cebu, Philippines, in 1996 to take over his mother Betty's furniture design and manufacturing company. Betty, who is a designer and a Pratt graduate, founded the company. Kenneth realized that modern design could be reinvented using natural fibers and materials. He began creating the pieces that now make up the collection by blending locally sourced organic materials with innovative handmade production techniques. This offered an alternative to the Western definition of modern design. He pays tribute to the talent of craftsmen, which forms the basis of the designs produced by KENNETH COBONPUE today. The company produces high-end indoor and outdoor furniture and furnishings known for their artistic imprint and unique visual impact. All creations skillfully integrate nature, traditional craftsmanship, and innovative technologies.
