Inspired by the soaring rib vaults and pointed arches of medieval Gothic architecture, the Hagia Coffee Table by world-renowned designer Kenneth Cobonpue bridges traditional artisan hand-weaving with contemporary sculptural form. The Hagia Coffee Table creates a captivating interplay of light, shadow, and structural geometry. Overlapping synthetic fiber and nylon strands are meticulously hand-woven over a contoured steel frame, forming intersecting triangular peaks reminiscent of grand cathedral vaults. Topped with clear tempered glass, the intricate web-like structure remains fully visible from every angle. The open framework creates a visual lightness that keeps spaces feeling expansive while serving as a compelling centerpiece. Multi-layered hand-woven patterns replicate the cathedral ceiling motifs found throughout the Hagia collection. Constructed with weather-resistant polyethylene/nylon fibers and a powder-coated steel frame, making it suited for luxury indoor living rooms or sheltered outdoor loggias. The clear glass top provides an unobstructed view of the intricate handiwork beneath. Handcrafted in Cebu, Philippines, by master weavers under Kenneth Cobonpue’s direction.

General Information
After spending years abroad, Kenneth Cobonpue returned to Cebu, Philippines, in 1996 to take over his mother Betty's furniture design and manufacturing company. Betty, who is a designer and a Pratt graduate, founded the company. Kenneth realized that modern design could be reinvented using natural fibers and materials. He began creating the pieces that now make up the collection by blending locally sourced organic materials with innovative handmade production techniques. This offered an alternative to the Western definition of modern design. He pays tribute to the talent of craftsmen, which forms the basis of the designs produced by KENNETH COBONPUE today. The company produces high-end indoor and outdoor furniture and furnishings known for their artistic imprint and unique visual impact. All creations skillfully integrate nature, traditional craftsmanship, and innovative technologies.
