The Undique Mas Side Table (meaning "Undique More") is a 2023 evolution of Patricia Urquiola’s original Undique series. While the initial collection focused on slim, minimalist lines, the "Mas" version is a postmodern celebration of volume, softness, and "generous" proportions. Urquiola designed these tables to be "dotted" around a living space like a series of islands. They are intended to be used in groups; because they come in varying heights and shapes, you can nestle them together to create a layered, architectural landscape in the center of your room. The Undique Mas Side table feature a bold, bulbous look with thick, sturdy legs and soft-edged tops. Unlike the original collection’s stone-like textures (like black terrazzo), Undique Mas Side Table is defined by its high-gloss polyester lacquer, giving it a mirror-like, candy-coated finish. The shapes are deliberately imperfect and soft, ranging from perfect circles to "kidney bean" or "wavy" ovals.
