The armchair is named after its characteristic "ears" that resemble those of a mouse, which is a nod to Mahdavi's "childhood heroes". The Mickey armchair features a black wood structure and two different shades of green upholstery, creating a playful and fun look. According to India Mahdavi, "Gebrüder Thonet Vienna is the only manufacturer in the world that can turn your hand-drawn sketches into a high-quality wooden product."
