Add a touch of kinetic geometry to your seating arrangement with the Amaya End Table by Kenneth Cobonpue. Playfully challenging structural expectations, this luxury accent Amaya End Table utilizes a unique "nested" frame design that pairs an outer cylindrical shell with an inner, hourglass-shaped support structure. Handcrafted with incredible precision, the parallel vertical lines of the exterior contrast beautifully with the sweeping, parabolic curves of the interior core. Topped with clear tempered glass, the table invites you to look straight through its woven geometry, creating a fascinating moiré effect—a shifting visual pattern—as you move around the room. An outer cylinder seamlessly encases an inner hourglass core, creating a visually compelling piece that shifts in pattern depending on the viewing angle. Hand-woven with perfectly spaced vertical and curved lines, illustrating the exceptional accuracy of Cobonpue's master artisans. Features a clear, floating glass top that provides a perfectly functional surface while keeping the intricate inner weaving fully visible. The open-frame construction lets light and ambient floor colors pass through effortlessly, keeping small corners or compact spaces feeling unencumbered.

General Information
After spending years abroad, Kenneth Cobonpue returned to Cebu, Philippines, in 1996 to take over his mother Betty's furniture design and manufacturing company. Betty, who is a designer and a Pratt graduate, founded the company. Kenneth realized that modern design could be reinvented using natural fibers and materials. He began creating the pieces that now make up the collection by blending locally sourced organic materials with innovative handmade production techniques. This offered an alternative to the Western definition of modern design. He pays tribute to the talent of craftsmen, which forms the basis of the designs produced by KENNETH COBONPUE today. The company produces high-end indoor and outdoor furniture and furnishings known for their artistic imprint and unique visual impact. All creations skillfully integrate nature, traditional craftsmanship, and innovative technologies.
