Design & Materials

Jaime Hayon's concept for Arcolor begins with the classical geometry of the arch, using this recurring curved form to create a more organic modular system. 

The trapezoidal elements expand this concept beyond conventional linear seating and can be incorporated into larger modular arrangements. 

• Structure: Metal and MDF frame. 
• Padding: Differentiated-density shaped polyurethane with polyester slipcover. 
• Springing: Elastic straps. 
• Base: Lacquered metal. 
• Base Finishes: Black, grey or Bordeaux lacquered metal. 
• Glides: Protective Teflon glides. 
• Upholstery: Available in a wide selection of fabrics from the Arflex collection, including bouclé, chenille, linen/cotton blends, velvet and wool textures.
