The Bel Air Sofa by Arflex, designed by Swedish architecture and design studio Claesson Koivisto Rune, is a refined modular seating system defined by clean lines, balanced proportions, and understated elegance. Designed for both residential living spaces and hospitality interiors, Bel Air combines generous seating with the versatility of a system composed of separate elements. Its modular character makes it possible to create different seating compositions while maintaining a cohesive, sophisticated aesthetic. Select configurations can also integrate stone surfaces, adding a functional architectural element directly into the seating system. Available stone options include Carrara, Marquinia and Emperador marble, as well as red and Roman travertine. The Bel Air Sofa combines a metal and poplar plywood structure with differentiated-density shaped polyurethane padding. Elastic straps support the seat, while the back cushions combine polyurethane with channelled goose feather. Fabric and leather upholstery options allow the sofa to be tailored to different interior settings.
