Arflex Gloria Armchair Low Back | Designed by Claesson Koivisto Rune

The Arflex Gloria Armchair Low Back, designed by Claesson Koivisto Rune in 2019, is a refined upholstered armchair characterized by soft, rounded forms and a compact low-back silhouette. The Gloria collection was created with different backrest heights and upholstery treatments, allowing the chair to take on distinct visual expressions. Its curved surfaces are designed to gently envelop the body while providing comfort without requiring excessively bulky upholstery. The result is an elegant contemporary armchair with a visually light profile. Gloria Armchair Low Back is available with a standard upholstery treatment that reveals the metal leg structure, as well as a skirted version that conceals the base and creates a fuller silhouette. Quilted treatments are also documented for the collection.
