The Arflex Island Coffee Table, designed by Bernhardt & Vella in 2013, is part of a versatile collection of occasional tables conceived in different shapes and heights. The individual tables can be positioned together to create larger or smaller “islands,” giving the collection a flexible approach to contemporary living spaces. The design combines a wood or lacquered MDF tabletop with a lacquered metal structure and black lacquered tabletop edge. Documented wood options include wengé, oak, and chocolate finishes. Available in square and elongated configurations, Island Coffee Table can function as a central coffee table or as part of a layered arrangement using tables of different proportions and heights.
