Arflex Ladle Swivel Armchair High Back | Designed by Luca Nichetto

The Arflex Ladle Swivel Armchair High Back, designed by Luca Nichetto in 2014, is a sophisticated upholstered armchair that combines a generous high-back profile with the functionality of a swivel base. The Ladle collection was conceived to offer multiple configurations while preserving a consistent aesthetic and functional identity, allowing each version to work naturally across different interiors and atmospheres. The high-back version creates a more enveloping visual presence, while the star-shaped swivel base gives the chair a lighter, contemporary foundation. Arflex lists high versions with a swivel star base within the Ladle collection, including Armchair 81 and Armchair 87 configurations. With its combination of sculptural upholstery, distinctive proportions, and swivel functionality, the Ladle Swivel Armchair High Back is particularly suited to refined living rooms, reading areas, executive interiors, and sophisticated lounge environments.
