The Forma Easy Armchair is an award-winning triumph of ergonomic artistry, born from a brilliant two-year design collaboration between world-renowned Filipino craftsman Kenneth Cobonpue and Italian industrial designer Federica Capitani. Moving entirely away from standard symmetrical seating, the Forma Easy armchair is sculpted to seamlessly mimic the natural, sweeping curves of marine corals, resulting in a lounge chair that wraps around the human body like a tailored canvas. Rather than relying on flat woven surfaces to support your weight, the chair features an avant-garde frame composed of flowing, independent lines that establish a sublime recline. Dressed carefully by hand with specialized polyethylene threads of three different diameters, its lightweight frame catches light dynamically—delivering an airy presence and high-fashion tactile energy to premium sunrooms, luxury poolside decks, and upscale residential terraces. Uniquely engineered in dedicated left-leaning or right-leaning configurations, letting you pair them perfectly to frame a luxury space. Wrapped by hand in a deliberate trio of variable thread diameters, giving the chair a richer visual texture and structural depth. Meticulously developed from hand-sculpted clay models to test precise physical proportions, ensuring a seating profile that perfectly mirrors natural resting body alignment. Constructed over a marine-grade, micro-thin steel frame armored with weather-resistant polymers that effortlessly brave sun, wind, and coastal air.

General Information
After spending years abroad, Kenneth Cobonpue returned to Cebu, Philippines, in 1996 to take over his mother Betty's furniture design and manufacturing company. Betty, who is a designer and a Pratt graduate, founded the company. Kenneth realized that modern design could be reinvented using natural fibers and materials. He began creating the pieces that now make up the collection by blending locally sourced organic materials with innovative handmade production techniques. This offered an alternative to the Western definition of modern design. He pays tribute to the talent of craftsmen, which forms the basis of the designs produced by KENNETH COBONPUE today. The company produces high-end indoor and outdoor furniture and furnishings known for their artistic imprint and unique visual impact. All creations skillfully integrate nature, traditional craftsmanship, and innovative technologies.
