In the late 1950s, Arflex acquired a series of sofas designed by Roberto Menghi, called Hall. These designs were not only for the elite, as the birth of other magazines and specialized exhibitions made design accessible to wider audiences. The armchair Hall was awarded an honorable mention for the Compasso d’Oro in 1959. The frame and armrests of the armchair and sofa are made of metal and covered in shaped polyurethane foam. The base is made of wood and comes in various colors from the Arflex collection.
