General Information
After spending years abroad, Kenneth Cobonpue returned to Cebu, Philippines, in 1996 to take over his mother Betty's furniture design and manufacturing company. Betty, who is a designer and a Pratt graduate, founded the company. Kenneth realized that modern design could be reinvented using natural fibers and materials. He began creating the pieces that now make up the collection by blending locally sourced organic materials with innovative handmade production techniques. This offered an alternative to the Western definition of modern design. He pays tribute to the talent of craftsmen, which forms the basis of the designs produced by KENNETHCOBONPUE today. The company produces high-end indoor and outdoor furniture and furnishings known for their artistic imprint and unique visual impact. All creations skillfully integrate nature, traditional craftsmanship, and innovative technologies.
