The Marechiaro is a modular sofa system designed by Mario Marenco in 1976. Even after so many years, it still maintains its relevance and continues to be popular. The sofa has a formal and minimalist design, which comprises of modular elements that can be arranged in various combinations. In the fabric version, all the components of the sofa can be easily removed. The base of the sofa is made of plywood, which is coupled with fiber and upholstered. The backrests and armrests are structured with metal to provide support. Each element of the sofa, including the backrest, seat, and armrest, is padded individually with non-deformable polyurethane foam with differentiated densities and fiber lining. The sofa’s feet are made of metal, adding a touch of elegance to its design.
