Step into a story written in 1968. Originally pitched to Elio Martinelli by pioneering architect Sergio Asti, the Visiere Table Lamp has returned from the archives in a stunning, signed and numbered reissue. It stands as a brilliant tribute to Asti’s legacy and his deep fascination with Eastern culture. Inspired by the protective plates of ancient Japanese samurai helmets (visiere), this Visiere table lamp balances mid-century architectural structure with poetic elegance. Even when switched off, its commanding graphic shape functions as an interior sculpture; when turned on, it completely transforms the atmosphere of a room. Constructed with three overlapping aluminum calottes (half-spheres) fixed to a central support pin. This tiered design creates a stunning gradient play of light and shadow. Designed intentionally to emit a gentle, glare-free, suffocated light from its layers, creating an immediate sense of relaxation, focus, and reflection. Released as a special numbered edition to honor Sergio Asti (one of the original founders of the ADI - Association for Industrial Design). Crafted in glossy white lacquered aluminum, ensuring it looks sharp and sophisticated across retro or hyper-modern minimalist settings.
