DAW Chair by Charles & Ray Eames | Plastic Armchair with Wooden Base

The Vitra DAW Chair is one of the most celebrated models from the iconic Eames Plastic Chair Collection. Designed by Charles & Ray Eames, the DAW Chair (Dining Height Armchair Wood Base) combines a comfortable molded shell with integrated armrests and a beautifully crafted wooden base, creating a warm and inviting interpretation of one of the most influential furniture designs of the twentieth century. Originally developed from the Eameses' groundbreaking experiments with molded seating, the DAW represents the perfect balance of comfort, functionality, and timeless aesthetics. Its organic form adapts naturally to the body, while the wooden base introduces warmth and residential character to both modern and traditional interiors. Manufactured by Vitra under license from the Eames Office, the DAW remains a benchmark for authentic mid-century modern furniture and a versatile seating solution for contemporary living.
