The abbreviation DSR stands for Dining Height Side Chair Rod Base. Its organically shaped shell is paired with a non-stacking, four-legged steel wire base featuring cross struts. This combination gives the chair a light, architectural appearance while providing structural strength. The contemporary RE version features a shell manufactured from dyed-through, recycled polypropylene that is itself 100% recyclable. Due to the nature of the recycled material, subtle pigment specks may be visible in the shell and are a characteristic of the material rather than a defect. Multiple shell colors, upholstery options, and base finishes allow the DSR to adapt easily to residential dining rooms, kitchens, workspaces, hospitality settings, and other contemporary interiors.
